This knowledge base is the accumulation of the Xrev teams' knowledge in regard to Revit/BIM from their extensive usage since 2001. Every tricky issue that the Xrev team has faced over the years gets documented to make it easily accessible to all subscribers.

It incorporates BIM Standards, How to Guides, Tips & Tricks as well as Troubleshooting articles. Many of these are interactive allowing you to watch animations, videos, expand images and tables to allow better readability. The system is searchable, and many sections include links to related articles to ensure you get the whole solution and context. Whether it be the process for starting a new project and setting up all the coordinates/levels, best practice for structuring of a new project, issuing models/documentation, model maintenance, creating custom hatch patterns, modelling stairs or figuring out why an element isn't visible in a view, there are hundreds of pages of information.

The system also allows you to add comments for suggested enhancements. Let Xrev know is something isn't clear enough, or if there is a mistake and they'll improve the article as needed.

It should be noted this isn't a how to use Revit guide that explains the Revit interface, how to draw a wall etc. It tackles the more complex tasks and topics or the little features you might miss…

"We welcome your feedback and any questions. I trust this site will be an extremely useful resource for your team"
