Windows Installer Package (.msi)
Xrev Transmit is also provided as a Windows Installer (.msi) setup package for 64-bit (x64) systems.
Use this package to install or upgrade Xrev Transmit.
The Windows Installer package is a .msi file and it typically has the version number embedded in it's name.
For example, the file name of the Windows Installer package for version 3.0.0 is: XrevTransmitSetup_3.0.0_x64.msi
This setup package includes the Xrev Transmit product only and does not include any additional components such as the bundled PDF printer.
Full Installer (.exe)
The full installer is a setup application which contains Windows Installer (.msi) packages for the Xrev Transmit product for both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) systems, as well as the bundled PDF printer (bioPDF) and it's pre-requisites.
The full installer is an executable (.exe) file and it typically has the version number embedded in it's name.
For example, the file name of the full installer for version 3.0.0 is: XrevTransmitSetup_3.0.0.exe
The bioPDF printer is bundled with Xrev Transmit in order to support automatic naming of PDF files. Xrev Transmit also supports automatic file naming with other popular PDF printers such as Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam PDF and PDF Creator.
Download the full installer if you're not sure which download is right for you.
After downloading an installer, simply run that installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Xrev Transmit is now ready to use.
The installation requires administrative privileges.
