Deploying the Supersede utility

The Supersede utility is distributed as a single executable file (Supersede.exe). No installation is required. The executable file can be placed in a folder and then invoked via a command line.

A default configuration file (Supersede.json) is also distributed along with the executable file. This file is optional, however, it must be placed in the same folder as the executable file. See configuring the Supersede utility and folder specific configuration for more information.

These files can be located in a shared network folder.

.NET 6 Runtime

This Supersede utility uses the .NET 6 runtime which must be installed on the PC in order to run the utility.
